Quite a lot has been going on recently, Firstly the cool stuff: I’ve changed Unity Coders over to drupal (a PHP based CMS) over from Joomla, another PHP based CMS. It’s still pretty much a blank canvas at the moment, which I want to expand and build upon. I’m not sure where to take the site though. It’s always been my aim to use the site to host forums and tutorials, which will be of intrest and help to people, problem is i’ve never been too sure on how to archive it. How should the tutorials be filed? what applications/websites should we support?
I’m also interested in suggestions for content and any possible improvements that can be made, and if you think that our domain is too technology based/seems to standoffish for general users. I’m probably going to try and distance this Blog from my site for the time being while I think it over: but I’ve got until September to think about it, and the future of the website. We’ve had the site for about three years (including the time we spent with a .uni.cc address, and we’ve not really seen much progress.) I’m aware allot of this is my fault, for keeping messing the system up and changing the CMS.
On the less interesting side of things, and personally, things aren’t going to well, but that’s’ life. I’m in college – but college is almost over, then final exams. I’m worried about what will happen after college – their is university, but it means that so much will change, I’ll be without my friends and the people who mean so much to me.
